Dear Parents
The decision to become a parent is one of the most important in an adult’s life, and taking it seriously is one of the most selfless. A child requires your attention, relies on it, and your day is no longer solely about you, but also about them. Especially when they are toddlers and become irrational walking, talking, and eating machines.
I understand that raising children alongside all the other typical adulthood duties is hard enough and that the last thing you want to do is start worrying about the nutritional side of your house and family. I also appreciate that each family has its own set of beliefs, customs, desires, and ideas about how to raise their children, particularly when it comes to feeding them.
I’m not here to tell anyone that what they’re doing is wrong, because there is no such thing as a wrong way to raise your children if you do it with all the love and good intentions in your heart. I simply hope to impart useful information regarding nutrition based on science, factual reporting, experience, and my overall assessment of it all to allow you, the parent, to make the most informed decisions for you and your family. And, hopefully, help improve your and your family’s overall wellness and quality of life over time. In fact, I hope to learn from you all as well. So please, be sure to share your insights and thoughts on everything I write about here!
But it all starts and stops with you, the parent.
